    Jon’s other research interests include socio-informatics, content analysis, vaccine hesitancy, and preventing violent extremism.

    Sujoy Chakravarty

    Professor of Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University

    Sujoy Chakravarty received his Ph.D in Economics from Purdue University. He has since then been a faculty member in various institutions such as the University of Texas at Dallas, Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institute of Technology and Jawaharlal University, where he is currently Professor of Economics. His research and teaching interests include applied microeconomics and experimental and behavioural economics. His research has been published in journals such as Ecological Economics, Review of Industrial Organization, Theory and Decision, Southern Economic Journal, Environment and Development Economics, Economic and Political Weekly, Global Business and Economics Review and Decision Support Systems.
